There was a restaurant opposite where we lived, and one of the women that worked there asked us if we would look after her little dog Titti for a short while, as she was currently living with her in-laws. The mother in law didn’t like animals, she was very cruel to Titi. She even left her on a busy motorway to fend for herself. Hoping she’d get run over 😡 I was not happy about this, but what could we do, we certainly would not abandon her.
I can’t remember this woman’s name, she told us it would only be for a short while as she and her husband were moving to a place of their own, and she would take Titti back. So we took her. We never ever saw the woman again. She left her job and left the area. Titti became our rescue dog number 11. Titi became a firm favourite, she was such a character. She absolutely adored our grandson Harry, who was just a little boy. Harry loved her too. Titti was very protective of him.
Sadly she got hit by a car on that blasted road where we lived, she died in Mino’s arms. I was in England at the time, I never even got to say goodbye.💔 Loved you Titti.
