In 2007, Teddy arrived, another dog outside of our gate yet again. Someone had left him there. I think we must have a sign somewhere in doggy language, saying “all welcome”. Poor little boy, he had hardly any fur on him, he was pink and stank to high heaven. He had a terrible skin disease. We took him to our vet, who diagnosed rogna rossa, in English that is “Red Mange”. Mino had to give him two injections over the course of a month, and several baths with a special shampoo. His fur grew back with a vengeance. It became really thick.
Teddy was such a character, he adored Mino, (which most of them do).
He was fortunate enough to be adopted by our friend Liz and lived very happily in Suffolk for the remainder of his life. Liz’s family all loved him, and he loved them, he was a very lucky boy 🐶💕 Liz used to bring him to Italy every summer for his holidays, so we got to see him and he never forgot us. Bless you Tedrick 🐾🐾
