Peggy was our miracle girl. In May 2008, Mino was approached by a local bar owner, he didn’t own Peggy, but he fed her, she was a stray. He said she was ill, well that was an understatement. She was gravely ill. Peggy had a bad case of Leishmania, she was so thin, he asked if we would take her. Of course, we did.
Peggy was a street dog, she had lived on the streets all her life. Her condition was dire, she would bleed profusely. My granddaughter, Emily, would stay by her side sobbing. Peggy had a course of very expensive medication, which over time, worked. She was probably about 8 when we took her, she went from being a street dog to becoming an old girl that loved her home comforts, she even had her own chair. Nothing she liked more than her chair! We had Peggy for 7 years.
For an old dog so ill, she turned into the most beautiful old girl. We lost Peggy in September 2015. Our Miracle Girl.💕🐶🐾
