Dear Ginger

Dear Ginger

It’s with great sadness I have to tell you that Ginger was put to sleep today. He had not been eating much for sometime and had become quite thin, suddenly around mid morning, he starting behaving differently, and he developed a massive swelling on his side. This just appeared from nowhere. We were in no doubt what had to be done. Mino took him to an emergency vet who put him to sleep whilst he was stroking and cradling him. Poor Ginger, we had had him for over eleven years, so he was probably around fourteen. He was one of our original Portuguese dogs that we brought here to Italy with us. He will always be remembered. A very sad day for us. We love you Ginge XX
